I’m a creative director with a passion for finding opportunities in obstacles, building smooth processes, and forming talented, strong, engaged teams.
With 20 years of graphic design practice in the promotional and marketing world, I prioritize strategy, develop design guidelines, direct creative work and integrate and execute collateral cross-departmentally. I provide a strong culture of collaboration, accountability, teamwork and motivation. Recognizing and honoring the human component within a highly tech-driven world is a strong motivator and differentiator as it is our only constant. Original ideas, cultivating career development, and always remembering the heart and mind behind the work is paramount to me.

2018 – 2026
Senior Creative Director
Through multiple acquisitions and mergers, I built and led a highly motivated and unmatched group of creative talent. Ensuring we had a group of different specialties allowed for us to tackle any and every project, regardless of breadth and timeline. In this role, I developed clear, successful processes across a large, highly varied environment that worked across multiple teams. Educating interdepartmental leads on the value of design and best practices was a consistent commitment and need I found motivating - this is a fundamental way to support causes and teams. My daily practice involved leading the creative approach on high stakes opportunities under tight deadlines and assembling the best team for the job. Between new business development opportunities and the everyday work, the creative team continued to win business and gain prestige.

2010 – 2018
Senior Designer, Art Director
Working side by side with the Creative Director, I gained experience in working with a variety of clients, internal account executives, personalities and brands. I observed that I had both a knack for design as well as an innate sense of people and processes. I moved steadily through roles and honed my skills as an accomplished Senior Designer before realizing my true passion as an Art Director. I love(d) organizing information, establishing the objective and providing the reasoning behind the work. This role is where I moved into consistent strategizing, leading successful collaboration with a wide variety of talent, and presenting the accomplishments of our collective work to a wide client base.
Bensussen Deutsch & Associates
2005–2010
Merchandise Coordinator, Graphic Designer
As Merchandise Coordinator, I worked with product developers and a consistent client base to build product lines for web and retail spaces. Understanding and adhering to brand standards were first and foremost in this role, to the pixel. Sourcing, ordering merchandise and quality control were at the core of my every day. After two years gaining knowledge on the account side of the business, it became clear I could add more value with my design proficiency. I moved into a graphic design position, where I quickly and happily became a utility player.
